Chapter 11: The making of the national movements:

This chapter includes topics like policies of people. Nawabs lose power, peasants and sepoys, responses to reformers, mutiny become rebellion, struggle from Meerut to Delhi etc. This is a chapter about the freedom struggle started in India and conditions that led to the national movement in India. Many questions of this chapter are formed in the paper.

Chapter 12: India after Independence:

In this chapter students will learn about a new and divided nation, written constitution, plan for development etc. This includes topics of the condition of Indian textiles in the European market, growth of iron and steel industries, a decline of Indian textile cotton mills, iron and steel factories in India.

This chapter has a weightage of 15 marks.

Civics gives us an idea about the law and the constitution of our country. It focuses on social topics, economic and political life in contemporary India. It has a total of 10 chapters to study.
