- Create A Proper Sitting Habit: Yes, you read it right. Repeatedly you might have read or listened from the toppers about the study hours they have committed to achieving the desired success. To study long hours, you need to first make the habit of sitting for long hours. With steady school and coaching, you need to find a particular time slot in your daily routine in which you are just attentive for the NEET 2023 preparation and nothing else. Don’t mix it with the time you consume in homework or school work. Once you commence with 2-4 hours a day, then it will be easy for you to extend it to 7 to 8 hours when needed.
- Focus On Concepts:You should work on clearing the concepts. Start with reading your NCERTs. Before going through any other study material, the concepts should be crystal clear from the NCERT books. Practise all the questions given in the textbooks and additional exercises and any other details that are written in the NCERT books.
- Work On Solving Methods: Getting the correct answer to the question should not be the only goal. When you have adequate time for preparation, you should focus on searching the finest ways to get a solution. Speed plays a crucial role in any competitive exam. Work on shrinking the time to solve a specific query. Consult with educators, and friends to get methods to reduce the time taken for some of the extensively asked problems.
- Keep Evaluating Yourself: Be good at school or coaching tests and you should keep evaluating yourself with the marks you are getting in each test. This is a good time to judge your mistakes and work on enhancing them. Don’t be in a shilly-shally that if you are getting low at this point of time then you will be able to survive at the later stage. There will be no mystery at the further stage, you need to take charge of your result and start working on overcoming that situation. Pickup the areas where you are weak and start working by giving additional focus on such topics.
- Spend Time Judiciously:If you are thinking that you have sufficient months for preparation then you are on the wrong path. You have only restricted months of preparation and your time should be cultivated in the right direction. Stop wasting hours on Social Media or visiting with friends needlessly. Social media is always there, and hangouts can be postponed but the time which is accessible for preparation cannot be replaced or cannot be renewed. In brevity, you should make a distance from the above activity that is taking up your preparation time.
- Leaving Topics: This is not the time to leave topics. This is the occasion when you should crystal clear your doubts frequently so that you complete your course on time. There are occasions where students leave topics for taking them up at a later stage and end up completely avoiding them due to lack of time. So, don’t leave topics and rather try to complete them with the guidance of your teachers and friends. - Sticking To Your TimeTable:Most of the aspirants work on making a timetable when there is just a month or two left for the exam. That can be a mistake as the last few months will be very hectic and you will not be able to manage proper time due to different exams. It is good you use this time by making a timetable for your boards and NEET preparation coequality. If you are a dropper then, you should just focus on making a timetable dividing slots for Class 11 & 12 topics. Additionally, stick to your crafted timetable. Many students designed a timetable but many failed to follow it.
