Eligibility Criteria for NEET Counselling

Here are the complete acceptability criteria that students need to follow to appear for the NEET Counselling 2022 process:

  • Candidates who qualify for NEET will be eligible to apply for NEET Counselling
  • Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will not be eligible to take part in the All India NEET Counselling unless they give their permission
  • Register NEET counselling on MCC website.
  • The AIQ counseling for all Deemed Universities will be open for all NEET-Qualified students only.

Counselling Process

The Medical Counselling body will be conducting the NEET-UG 2022 counselling for AIQ in four rounds, which will cover a mop-up round and a random vacancy round. After Round 2, the left seats will be packed in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The Mop Up round is an important step of counselling of seat awarding in medical colleges by states against the reverted seats from the All India 15% quota. While on the other hand, a stray round Is that round of counselling that generally happens after the Mop-Up Round.

  • Visit the official website Medical Counselling Committee (MCC )
