The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different examinations: the JEE-Main and the JEE-Advanced.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the joint admission process for a total of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs campuses and other (GFTIs) based on the rank obtained by a student in JEE-Main or JEE-Advanced, depending on the engineering college.
JEE Main 2023 is generally conducted for three groups of aspirants:- Paper 1 is for B.E. or B. Tech. Courses.
- B. Arch. Is for Course.
- Paper 2B is for B. Planning course

IIT JEE Advanced Overview
JEE Advanced (formerly known as IIT JEE) is the second phase of the IIT JEE and is usually conducted after the JEE Main exam. JEE Advanced is a computer-based exam and is usually conducted by seven different Indian IITs (IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi and IIT Guwahati) on a rotational basis.
